change your body imageMany of us, women especially, struggle with low body-image issues! We are not taught to celebrate our bodies as the beautiful and amazing highly sophisticated and unique creations they are. Instead we judge them and torture ourselves and then are surprised with we experience dis-ease on some level or another or feel deeply unhappy about our looks.

If you had to write a letter about or on your Change Your Body-Image, what would you write, ask, make notes about? Some years ago I did a bodywork class and one of the activities was to write a love note to our bodies. The facilitator would post us the letter at a later date, to remind us of what we had written. By the time the note arrived by mail, I had totally forgotten about it and it was lovely to receive it.

I invite you to write your own love note to your body and share mine here to inspire you. When you write, sit quietly and take a deep breath. Then connect to your feelings and how you want to feel towards Change Your Body-Image. Don’t sensor your words, however do focus on positive intentions. You will know you are on track as you will feel good.

Dear beautiful Body of Mine,
Every day I am more grateful for you and all that you be.
You take care of me without me even asking, always unconditionally delivering your best. How did I get so lucky to have you?
Through the darkest moments you have been there for me and always saw me through, yet you were often the last one I was to thank.
Every day in a million ways, you care for me and are eternally renewing and refreshing and youthing.
Over the last year you have shown me just how much you care, even though I often override and ignore, you remain …………..
Despite my judgements of you, you have continued tirelessly to contribute to the infinite being that I be.  How did I get so lucky to share consciousness with you?
You have shared my moments of pain and pleasure and allow me to receive all the sensual delights of this physical sexualness, showing me what phenomenal and orgasmic possibilities Life be’s. For all the laughter, tears, joy, movement, copulation, sexuality, sensuality, eating, sleeping, health – I am in awe and gratitude.
As our union becomes communion, between you and me and all that be, how does it get even better than this and what are the infinite possibilities?
Yummy body, show me clearly who will contribute to my life in greater ways, both on a personal and business level. Show me how to be communion.
Beautiful yummy body of mine, untold gratitude for you and the gift that you be. Now together let’s go have a sexy, phenomenal, orgasmic life !!

Put your love note in a safe place and then take it out in say two or three months later and read it over. Or post it to yourself from somewhere else when you are out of town or travelling, so you receive it later.

3 Self-Esteem Boosters

Are you someone who suffers from low self-esteem? Then I have great news for you! No matter what you have believed up until this moment, it’s possible to change it. Through the right positive focus and resolving some limiting beliefs and core patterns, you can start right now, here today and feel better about yourself and build a positive self-esteem.

Self-Esteem is the regard in which you hold yourself. A lot is learned from parents, education, culture and intuition. Self-Esteem, in my experience, is very much a question about connection on a physical, mental, emotional and soul level. It’s first and foremost about the connection you have with and to yourself – how you think about and feel about yourself and the manner in which you talk to and about yourself. It’s all about you in fact!

For many years, I struggled with low self-esteem, so I know how horrible this feels. In fact, I used to hate myself and my life was miserable because of these feelings. I believed what others had told me about myself, even although it hurt terribly. What hurt so much, was that I knew deep down inside that all of that simply wasn’t true – and yet I let myself down. Until I found another and new way.

For me to get from that place of not liking or loving myself at all, to where I cultivated a level of high self-esteem, took a while plus a lot of honest introspection. So today, I want to share with you, 3 of the elements that I consciously chose to add to and cultivate in my life, that helped me to boost a high and healthy sense of self-esteem. Here’s what I learned.

1. Element of Self-Love

Having been someone who didn’t love myself very much, I can guarantee you that Loving Yourself is the most important thing you will even do. Not only for yourself – also for the other people in your life.

Then, it’s about how you relate to others in ways that either support or disempower your level of Self-Esteem Boosters. The reason is that, when you truly love yourself and allow yourself to be who you truly are – the good, the bad, the ugly and all the other bits – you are a Gift! You can be confident. You can let go of the doubt, guilt and shame – all of which were probably not yours to begin with.

It took me a long time – through bouts of depression, abusive relationships and situations, suicidal tendencies and many low and dark moments – until I realized that all I really wanted, was to love myself.

So please give your permission today, if you are not yet there, to LOVE YOURSELF. It is soooo important! And only you can take the first step and continuously move forward.

Self-Esteem Boosters is a by-product of loving yourself and not vice-versa! So make sure your are not missing out on this crucial self-esteem booster.

2. Element of Worth

I have worked with so many people, who believe that they are not enough. I used to be one of them. They believe that if they try harder or hard enough, if they give more, if they behave in a certain way, that finally they will be enough … and be worthy of other people’s praise, love, approval, or something else.

I have witnessed it and felt it myself – the huge sense of relief that comes with finally accepting and knowing that I am enough already. That I am worthy. And with this, the knowing comes that we all have worth and are worthy!!!

There is nothing to prove, despite that so many of us have been duped into believing it is something to be achieved or earned. The problems arise when we start to doubt or are led astray by other’s opinions and when we think that we have to DO something to Be Enough. We are enough . . . evident in the fact that Life itself has given us Life. We are enough!

So please, choose to know that you are worthy. This choice to know that you are worth yourself will add and Self-Esteem Boosters beyond measure.

3. Element of Safety

This may surprise many people – I know it did me, when I realized that not feeling safe had a huge impact on my sense of Self-Esteem Boosters. Many of us are so afraid of the judgement of others. Perhaps even more so and subconsciously, we are afraid of our own judgement. I don’t know about you, but I have often been my harshest and most unforgiving critic!

I can remember the acute sense of relief I experienced when I finally let go of judging myself and wanting to control everything … aahhhhh … it was amazing! I began to feel safe.

When you don’t feel safe, worthy, nor love yourself, these mindsets create a gravitational pull to everything ‘out there’ that matches these lower vibes of self-esteem. Life will serve up the very things you often fear, as a sign post of your security vibe. Life will show you often paradoxically where you need to boost levels of love, worth and safety.

When you feel safe, you feel okay much of the time – even when you make mistakes. It feels safe even when you don’t always know exactly what to do, all of the time. It feels safe for you to be You – with or without other people’s approval.

Safety, is an inner state of being. Yes, you can live in a dangerous places – I’ve done that – and even in these situations, you can still feel safe. You can begin by claiming and affirming

I love myself,

I am enough

I am worthy,

I am always safe!

Even if at first you don’t quite believe or feel it completely. Claiming and declaring these will boost your self-esteem no end.

This does not mean there will not be days that are difficult nor that you will not have dips in your Self-Esteem Boosters. Simply no longer feed them and soon you will find yourself bouncing back. You will begin to enjoy the benefits of high self-esteem like feeling more confident, happier, healthier and successful in your daily endeavours.

YOU are your most priceless and valuable commodity! Believe in yourself and your self-esteem will follow. Actively boost yours daily with thoughts, words and actions of love, worth and safety that will nurture a healthy and loving connection and web of self-esteem. This is not to be confused with arrogance!

Hold yourself in esteem – this will help you in experiencing your purpose.

We are Pioneers Navigating Uncharted Waters

butterflytransitionHave you felt like you were losing your mind over the last several weeks? This period leading up to the blue moon transition in July 2015 has proven to be a very challenging time in a very unique and particular way for so many of us. Listening and seeing all that is going on around, things certainly appear to be chaotic to say the least. The last several weeks I have personally found very challenging and these new energies are certainly keeping me guessing.

Living in New Zealand, on the South Island, I am reminded of our forefathers from all over the world. Those first brave voyagers who set out without really knowing what they would find, yet driven by a fire in their heart that simply would not be quietened. After months at sea, which was perilous enough, they would arrive in a new and different place, to face unknown territory, fauna and flora and native inhabitants. Often driving the windy road through thick undergrowth and steep mountains, I am struck by how modern roadways are taken for granted. Without these constructed and maintained pathways, traveling even a small distance would be a very different experience.

Yet, there is definitely a Spirit of Pioneer in the air. Situations just seem even more topsy-turvy than usual and whilst I consider myself well equipped to steer these currents, I have been thrown quite some unexpected and totally unfamiliar and highly uncomfortable curve balls of late. It seems the frequencies have ultra-increased and there have been moments when I have felt literally as if I have been losing my mind. As someone who enjoys my solitude, even this was discomforting to say the least. What the heck?

The Observer, observes all of this happening and yes, the mind is becoming lost. The dominant mental energy is now becoming more aligned in compliment to the heart energy and this is creating quite a bit of movement and disruption as the process plays itself out. So yes the mind is being loosened and being lost and like those early pioneers, many of us are going where no human has consciously gone before, at least not at the accelerated speed at which it is being done now. And so yes, feeling overloaded is the correct term for what is happening. And No, it doesn’t feel very comfortable at all.

It is very important to stay focused on your bigger picture. Stay positive, even through the negative moments. Find the right people to support you. This is an existential experience and the mind is shrieking in resistance as it knows its days of total power are numbered. If your family and friends are unable to support you, ensure that you are getting quality solo-time if and when required. As the mental takes a back seat, it is important to honour the unfolding of the new, even though the means of understanding it are now totally changed. Tap into your Pioneer Spirit and whilst things may be serious, there is definitely Light on the horizon. Remember that to get to your destination and to handle those detours, keep focused on what it is you want and ensure that you are connecting to the resources within that fuel your Pioneer Spirit. When speaking with my healing partner earlier this week, I was reminded that a leader does not have followers. That is not the purpose of a leader in this new energy world. A leader is to set a path and go ahead so that others may follow if they choose. The pioneers of old knew that they were going ahead of everyone. They cleared the way in a manner of speaking. I feel we are being asked to lead the way with our Pioneer Spirit and in turn allow that Pioneer Spirit to lead us to unfamiliar greener pastures. It is time to leave the Known for the Unknown and Trust that all is well in all of Creation.

Like a beautiful butterfly, a complete overhaul is taking place. The caterpillar must transform into another life-form to experience what it is like to fly. I am a transition in transition. These are exciting times to be alive.
Be Bold. Be Courageous. Be Love. Be Safe. Be Your SELF.
